Who we are

Dog Bite Archive is operated by ME Lawyers, APLC (11110 Ohio Ave Suite #201, Los Angeles, CA 90025). This policy describes what we collect on this website, how we use it, and the rights California residents have.

What we collect

Information you submit through our form: your name, email address, mobile phone number, city and date; a report, case, incident, or citation number if you have one; optional matching details; and an optional animal description. This release does not accept document or animal-photo uploads.

Technical and marketing information collected automatically: pages visited, referring page, ad-click identifiers (such as gclid), UTM campaign parameters, IP address, and browser type. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking.

How we use it

To respond to your report request: your submission is delivered to ME Lawyers, APLC's intake system so a team member can review the likely record path and contact you about the request and possible legal options. Permission for automated calls or texts is optional and is not required for report-request assistance; reply STOP to opt out of texts.

To measure and improve our advertising (conversion tracking with Google), and to operate and secure the website.

General analytics and advertising events do not include your report number, incident narrative, contact information, animal-owner information, or medical information.

Who we share it with

ME Lawyers, APLC (the sponsoring law firm) receives your submission. We also use service providers to operate the site: website hosting, our intake/CRM platform (LeadDocket), email delivery, and Google (analytics and advertising measurement). These providers process data on our behalf.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: (1) know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose about you; (2) request a copy of that information; (3) request deletion of your personal information; (4) request correction of inaccurate information; and (5) not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at ME Lawyers, APLC, 11110 Ohio Ave Suite #201, Los Angeles, CA 90025, or through the contact information on this site. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by law.

We do not sell or "share" (as defined by the CPRA for cross-context behavioral advertising) personal information submitted through our form. Our advertising cookies are limited to measuring our own campaigns.

Retention and security

We keep submissions as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal-records requirements that apply to law firm intake. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and access is limited to people who need it to respond to you.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information. A parent or guardian should submit requests about a minor's injury.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a new "last updated" date.
